Pork Chop Dinner

Ingredients
6 pork loins chops (3/4 inch thick)
1 T vegetable oil
1 large onion sliced
1 medium green pepper, chopped
1 can (4 ounces) mushroom stems and pieces, drained
1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
1 T brown sugar
2 t Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 t cider vinegar
1/2 t salt
(Hot cooked rice, optional)

Directions
In a skillet, brown pork chops on both sides in oil; drain. Place chops in a slow cooker. Add the mushrooms.
In a bowl, combine the tomato sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar and salt. Pour over meat and vegetables. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until meat is tender. Serve with rice if desired.

Yield: 6 servings
